The Office 954 project, designed by Chin-Chun Wu, is a unique and innovative office space that combines functionality with aesthetic appeal. The design focuses on creating a space that encourages interaction and communication among the employees while maintaining a sophisticated and professional atmosphere.

One of the standout features of the design is the porch area, which serves as a transition between the outdoor and indoor spaces. The porch is furnished with wooden grilles and a bamboo ceiling curtain, creating a translucent and dynamic visual effect. The use of flat and vertical lines in this limited space adds a sense of depth and dimension. Additionally, the porch is made of thick sandblasted sycamore woods, which not only enhances the visual appeal but also connects different areas of the office.

Another notable aspect of the design is the meeting area, which is distinct from the reception area. Here, log tables and chairs, along with colorful wall shelves, display the professional and firm characteristics of the office. The wall shelves also serve to transform the conflicts that are often present in traditional building designs.

The design of the Office 954 project was realized using advanced technology and careful attention to detail. The technical issues were addressed in the next stage of communication, elevating the space structure to another level. The result is a well-designed and functional office space that meets the specific needs of the client.

The Office 954 project spans an area of 45 square meters and was completed in June 2011 in Taichung City. The design was inspired by the works of Mondrian, the master of De Stijl, and incorporates elements of abstract oil painting and large wall shelves. The design aims to create an orderly and harmonious atmosphere, balancing rationality and sensibility.

The Office 954 project faced various challenges, including the need for effective communication between the client and the design team, as well as the creation of interaction opportunities and flexible variations without complexity. However, through innovative space reallocation and the skillful execution of the design team, these challenges were overcome, resulting in a successful and satisfying project.

The Office 954 project by Chin-Chun Wu was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in 2017 in the category of Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding and creatively ingenious designs that contribute to quality of life improvements.
